Guidelines

1. ⚫ Please visit Cytoindia website: https://www.cytoindia.com for the guidelines on submission for Nalini Bai Thakkar Award, Jwala Devi Award, Col. D. B. Nayar Memorial Award, Dr. Monisha & Dr. Panna Choudhury Memorial Award and Dr. Satya Monga Award.

4. ⚫ Full paper to be submitted by 30th August 2024 (only abstract will not be accepted).

PAPER/ POSTERS

Guidelines

1. ⚫ Candidate can submit only one abstract – either for a paper or for a poster presentation (OFFLINE mode only, virtual presentation is not allowed)
2. ⚫ Click Here To Submit your Abstract
3. ⚫ The last date for abstract submission is 30th August 2024.
4. ⚫ Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration of the candidate for conference.
5. NOTE: Abstracts will be reviewed and participant will be informed about the category (paper/poster).

POSTER

Abstract Submission

1. ⚫ Abstract of poster should be strictly on the subject/topic pertaining to cytology.
2. ⚫ The abstract shall be written in English.
3. ⚫ The abstract text shall not exceed 300 words. This word limit does not include title of the paper, name of author(s) and their affiliation(s).
4. ⚫ The abstract shall be submitted under following headings:
1.                 ⚫ Title (entire title in capital letters).
2.                 ⚫ Name and affiliation of each author (presenting author’s name shall be underlined). The presenting author should submit his/her complete postal address, mobile number and e-mail id for correspondence..
3.                 ⚫ Text of abstract should be structured using Times New Roman, size 12 font and should be under following headings: Introduction, Objectives, Case report and Conclusion for Case report/ Case series.
4.                 ⚫ Introduction, Aim/Objective, Material and Method, Observation/Result and Conclusion for original papers.
5. ⚫ Session timings and other relevant information will be available soon on the website.
6. ⚫ The poster should not be submitted in other conferences/ journals.

Guidelines for Presentation

1. ⚫ All presentations shall be in English.
2. ⚫ The poster size should be 4 feet (height) x 3 feet (width) (maximum).
3. ⚫ The contents of the poster for case report and case series should be under the following headings: Introduction, Objectives, Case report, Discussion and Conclusion.
4. ⚫ The font selected for the title should be larger than that for the rest of the text.
5. ⚫ Use of illustrations/images/photographs is recommended to show the relevant details.

PROFFERED PAPERS

Abstract Submission

1. ⚫ Abstract of paper should be strictly on the subject/topic pertaining to cytology.

Guidelines for Presentation

1. ⚫ All presentations shall be in English.
2. ⚫ All presentations shall be in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. (Microsoft Windows 7 or later file).
3. ⚫ Name of the presenter to be mentioned in the file name.
4. ⚫ Each paper is permitted 8 minutes for presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion pertaining to that paper.
5. ⚫ All presenters shall carefully follow the allotted time limit.
6. ⚫ Disclosure of conflict of interest: For full transparency, any commercial affiliation or conflict of interest shall be declared and identified at the beginning of oral presentation by each presenter.
